Some agencies run setups that are just more complex
Most connect and get their campaign answers within an hour, but some setups are just built different and that's what Lifeguards are for
Email a Lifeguard

Your stack has a weird setup? We've seen it before
Custom Connectors
A source no marketing platform connects to
"Our clients live on a regional ad platform nobody supports yet, and we need it in the same layer as Meta and Google."
Custom Attribution
An attribution model no default schema captures
"We blend Meta, TikTok, and email on a 14-day post-click window and nothing ever matches downstream."
Edge Cases
An account structure that breaks every tool's normalization
"One client runs seven currencies across three Meta accounts and nothing downstream has been accurate since we took them on."

Questions we get a lot.
Do I need a Lifeguard to get started with Summer?
+
No. Most agencies connect their sources and start sharing client reports the same day. Lifeguards exist for the minority of setups that fall outside what the product handles on its own.
What does the engagement actually look like?
+
Send an email describing what's broken or missing, with enough context to scope it properly: what your current stack looks like, where the data lives, what you've already tried, and what the output needs to look like on the Summer side. A Lifeguard scopes it, sends a fixed price, builds the fix directly into your normalized layer, and documents everything so your team can own it going forward.
Is there an ongoing commitment?
+
No. Every engagement is a one-time fixed fee. You pay for what was built, nothing else.
How long does it take?
+
Depends on scope, and you'll know before you commit. Simple connectors or attribution remaps are typically days to a week. More complex work gets scoped clearly upfront so there are no surprises on timeline or price.
What if my request doesn't fit neatly into one of the three categories?
+
Email anyway. If it's in scope you'll get a quote. If it isn't, you'll get a straight answer and a suggestion for what to do instead.
